My Top 9 Songs

What ever I'm doing, in the background, my playlist is always on. It is a collection of my current favourite songs and I absolutely adore it. These songs really feel like summer to me and encourage me to get moving. Obviously I realise that these songs won't be to everyone's tastes ,but if you do like them as well as me, tell me about it in the comments below These songs are in no particular order as it was physically impossible to choose. Enjoy...

Uptown Funk - Mark Ronson, ft. Bruno mars

Uptown Funk
This is one of my longest ,lasting favourite songs, as the majority of the time I get so sick of hearing songs being played so much. But shockingly that never happened with this gem. One of the reasons, this is in my top 10, is because it is the only song my whole squad love. We all have such different tastes that it was really nice to find a song we all knew the words to. It also isn't just one type of genre, it is a mixture of jazz, pop, rap and probably more.

FourFiveSeconds- Rihanna, Kanye West, Paul McCartney.

FourFiveSeconds
Ughhhhh, now this is my no.1 favourite song by far. I love this song because all it is, is a guitar, an organ and the singers. There is no effects or messing about with the song. Due to this it has a relaxing feel, yet perfect for any occasion. One of my favourite things about it is the fact is that they are all extremely talented artists, although very different. The music video is also really good as well, like the song it doesn't mess about with anything, black and white, they are just singing and you can't help but watch and watch until it is over. But as much as I LOVE this song, I do wish we heard more of the absolute legend, that is Paul McCartney, that just stood there playing the guitar.

Trouble- Iggy Azalea ft. Jennifer Hudson

Trouble
I absolutely love this song, you can't help but dance along to it, with a mixture of jazz, rap and pop. The two artists together are ... perfection, with Hudson belting out notes and Iggy mellowing it down with her gentle voice. For me this is definitely a karaoke song, the lyrics are so easy to pick up and before you know it, you'll probably be annoying everyone with your immense skill. Trouble, is most by far one of the best songs on Iggy's new album, reclassified. Although the music video is amusing, it has absolutely no relevance to song, which is really disappointing, because I was really looking forward to the video.

When The Beat Drops Out- Marlon Roudette

When The Beat Drops Out
This isn't my most favourite out of my top ten. But never the less it is still very good. This song does have a bit of depressing undertone, so I don't recommend it if you are in a cheerful mood. I like to listen to it when I'm either taking a train or just walking somewhere, as it is a gentle song, so it allows me to focus whilst humming away. I had never heard any of his work before, but I am very impressed, I think I will continue to look out for his music.

 See You Again- Wiz Khalifa

See You Again

This song! I can't even describe how amazing it is, it is so beautiful!! At the beginning the lyrics just rip your heart out. It is really soft and delicate at the beginning and then straight a way it becomes all fast and furiously. (Is that even a word, probably not) As the version I listen to is from that album. I love the mixture of instruments used and how  gentle it is. Compared to almost every other song around at the moment, it is up with the best. I most definitely recommend this song to anyone who enjoys music.

Move - Little Mix

Move
Normally I would never listen to this girl group, but for this song I have to make an exception. It has a good beat and gets you dancing, no doubt. Move, the song definitely could have a better message to it. But if you aren't really in the mood to pick apart the lyrics, it really is a good song. I had to listen to this song a few times before I started to like it, but if you give it a chance you really will start to enjoy it.

Want To Want Me - Jason Derulo

Want To Want Me
This song is Good. From what I've heard this song is like marmite, you either LOVE it or HATE it. I can definitely see why, it is quiet a punchy and catchy song, which obviously won't be to everyone's tastes. Also the fact literally everyone uses it as an instagram caption for their selfies. But it is an upbeat song and like before it is catchy and memorable, I listen to this literally whenever. Personally I think it suits whatever mood you in, but I think that this song would have been better if it had lower notes used in it as sometimes it tended to be a bit too high. SORRY!

Cheerleader- Felix Jaehn Remix

Cheerleader
This has been Britain's 2015 summer song, it's all that's been playing on the radio and you know what, I kind of like it. It is definitely suited to this season and I like that it is enkeeping with the current trend of using trumpets. It definitely has my seal of approval. Like a few of the other songs, this is the first song that I have heard (that I can actually remember) from him. Similar, to Move it  hasn't got quality or respectable lyrics, but if you can close your ears to that, you will definitely find your foot tapping.

Stole The Show- Kygo
Stole The Shoe
Perfect, unfortunately this song would be perfect if you were going through a break up. Thank the lord, that's not going to happen to me, still its an amazing song. It is a simple song, lyric wise, but not in the effects department, there are bells, drums, piano and synth. Wow, there's probably more. When I first heard this song I really thought that it was Olly Murs singing it, but  no it was Kygo. Well done me.
I hope you enjoyed todays blog post, I really wish that I could put emojis in. Away, comment ,follow and I will see you soon. xx
