As you can probably tell, this is my first post ,on my first blog and I'm excited to see what will happen with it. On The Tea Queen, I will post mainly about anything creative, so whether that is creating a complex textile or baking some muffins, I will probably end up blogging about it. I will also blog about fashion, beauty and most definitely TV and music. At the moment I most likely won't be posting every single day, but expect at least once week.

I also love photography and editing, so there will be lots and lots of photos from my travels . Last week I took a short visit to Durham, it was beautiful, the city had an amazing atmosphere. There were talented buskers scattered all over and a mixture of big branded and unique shops. One of my favourite visits of the trip of was to river which ran through the centre, lined with trees it was the perfect place to escape to for half an hour or so. Every time I visit Durham, I have to have lunch at the fighting cocks pub. You would think that this pub would be disgusting, it looks like any old pub, but if you are anything like me your mood revolves around your stomach. This pub knows just how to hit the spot. So put your phones away, you aren't going to be taking any artsy photos, and enjoy so good northern grub.
