7 favourite pieces of H&M Autumn 2015

Hello Munchies!
Every shop on the high street now is just a sea of beige, so I've sifted through the clothes in H&M and found some beautiful pieces that are ready for the new season, whilst still looking like a fashion goddess but on a budget.

1. Off the shoulder top - £7.99. I love the fit of this top and the tribal pattern. FIERCE!
2.Short Bohemian Top - £7.99. I've tried this on and it is soft, comfortable and can be altered so it isn't as revealing as the picture is on the website.
3. Striped t-shirt - £9.99. A staple that would loo really good with boyfriend jeans.
4. Jumpsuit in a lyocell blend - £24.99.  Really loose fitting and comfortably stylish, for the colder days good be paired with a kimono or large wrap.
5. Jersey Dress- £11.99. I am in love with this dress, it almost looks like black overalls and you could pair this with so many pieces, like the stripy t-shirt underneath.
6. Wide satin trousers- £12.49. Walking in trousers like these make you feel like you are on clouds. This pattern is beautiful and perfect for autumn into winter.
7. Jasquad-knit poncho- £24.99. Wraps and ponchos are really in at the moment and with the tribal print, you would be a queen if you wore this.

I hope you liked this post. If so tell me in the comments if you would like to see this again for any other shops. xxx

Brighton Day Out

Hello again muchies!!

A few days ago two of my friends and myself took a day trip down to Brighton and it was such an amazing day. We did lots of shopping, relaxing and a LOT of laughing. Oh I also got attack by 20+ sea gulls, but I'll tell you more about that later. Brighton Station is one of my favourites, it isn't too big, it's just beautiful and everyone there is so kind, even the passenger!

The main road coming from the station has a great view straight down of the sea front, I love Brighton as it is a complete mixture of people  and shops. Even right outside the shopping centre there were a load of small shops.

Desk Tour

Overview of my desk
Hello again Munchies! Recently I've slowly been adding lots of little accessories and DIY's to my room, to make it more me! My desk is now to my liking and I'm really  happy with how it turned out. When I started adding pieces to this section of my room I wasn't sure how I wanted it to look, but now it is clean, organised and as I would say urban outffitersery. I'm sorry that is definitely not a real word. The inside of the desk is still a little cluttered but that is definitely by next job, I'm kind of dreading it. But I know that when it is done it will look just as amazing as the exterior. So I hope you enjoy the tour , read what your interested in and lets jump into it.

Storage
In this section of my desk I keep all of my little knick knacks and pieces and keep my life in general organised.

Stackers TM: This is a collection of small leather trays where I keep my earrings and some other pieces of jewellery, as well as little bits of pieces that I've collected over the years. As there are three layers it costs around £40 and they are well worth it.

Stand-Alone mirror: I just got this mirror at the weekend for only £3 at TIGER. As I'm planning on doing my hair and makeup for school at my desk , so I don't feel as rushed and can generally relax more in the mornings.

Cello tape and Stapler: There isn't really much to say about these, I think I bought these from Wilkos for a pound each and have served me well. Long live the stationary.

Calendar:  This daily calendar is a really nice piece to have on the desk it is easy to use and helps me work out how long it is until Friday when I'm pulled out of my bed for school.

My cute place
I love this place on my desk, by far my favourite. As you may know, I'm a huge fan of urban outfitters, but it's literally so expensive so I only have a few pieces. But I think they work really well with my room. I LOVE URBAN OUTFITTERS.

Brass Photo frame: This golden brass photo frame is gorgeous, it's really delicate and a good size, I'm constantly changing the photos and art in it. The only down side to it is that it leaves scratches on the wood, so I end up having to put the cello tape on the bottom of it. This frame I wouldn't say is worth £20, but I'm certainly happy I have it.

Brass Prism Thing: Along with the mirror I just bought it at the weekend and how perfect does it look with the frame! It is a perfect size and I can store loads in it and it even makes twine look good. It was on sale at Urban Outfitters for £15, so for them it was pretty cheap. Oh if your wondering that's an eyelash curler at the bottom.

Henna Rocks: I was watching a lot of Urban Outfitters inspired DIY videos on YouTube and these came up a ton. These are what I call a bargain! Completely free! I simply went and grabbed two rocks from the garden and a sharpie and started doodling and I think they look great.

UO eye pillow DIY

UO eye pillow: I have literally just finished making this pillow and I'm in love with it. For me I made this for free as I always have loads of cotton fabric at home and sharpies, whereas if I bought this from Urban Outfitters it would have been £40 .  If you want a DIY for this comment below.

I hope you enjoyed this post, don't forget to comment below and subscribe. See you soon!

Clothes, Clothes, Clothes

Hello Munchies!
WOW, I've been really busy recently, but a few days ago I unfortunately had to go back to school shopping. Yes, I know it is very sad thing, but, the light at the end of the tunnel of this trip was the fact I bought clothes! I've been wanting something like them for a while now, sooooooo enjoy! xx

Stripy Crop top

I absolutely love this crop top, for me this is a bit more revealing than what I'm used to, but I know I'm going to wear this so much. I think this top will also suit all year round, so I can start wearing it now even though it's not Autumn yet. YAY! The crop top is from new look and I think was around £8.00, but I can't remember if it was in the sale or not. But if it was I'm happy I grabbed it before it was off the shelves for good.

All you got to do is try

This week I decided to try something new. Shockingly it was a sport. I was playing against people who had been doing it their whole lives. Compared to them I was absolutely rubbish, but I loved it. Not being rubbish next to them, but the sport. There were several points in the experience where I thought I may as well give up. But I kept going and by the end of the day I'd improved in skill and confidence. Now I'm thinking of joining a club and am looking forward to learning more and more. I found somebody throughout this who was also in  my place and we started talking and we are going to do it together helping each other out and pick each other up if we fall. This gives me just a glimmer of confidence.

Now every day we will be in situations like this and we won't always have somebody else who we can share it with. So all we have to do is try. Try to succeed, try to take part, try to make friends. Just try and even if we fail, then we won't have any regrets or ever wonder why and regrets are always at the back of your mind. So if we simply try there won't be any more regrets. Perfect, and I know it won't always be as simple as that, but there's always a way out and we have to remember that always.

When you're in a sticky situation:

  • Make a friend- There will always be somebody who is in your situation even if they don't shout about it and its also helpful to find somebody who's better than you, they can help you, pull you out. Without you knowing about it you could have just made a load of friends that are absolute baes.
  • Try- This whole post is about trying, we get up to this everyday. Even if it is trying to get out of bed.
  • Forget yourself- Sometimes this is the thing holding us back from succeeding, we are too worried about how we are seen to try. So if you can just shake it off, allow somebody to help you, allow yourself to try then you WILL succeed.
  • Think- Think about what you are doing, close your eyes and forget about everything else, focus on what you are doing and think about the end goal.
I hope you enjoyed this post and it has encouraged you to put yourself out there more in situations which may be a bit uncomfortable at first. xx

My Wardrobe Essentials Checklist

Hello Again Munchies!
When I'm re-doing my wardrobe or cleaning it out, I either have way to many clothes that I will never wear or the complete opposite, I have hardly any at all. So I created a checklist below for all the basics that I use to mix and match to get a whole load of different outfits. Obviously you don't need all of them, as it is different to everyone, but I hope its helpful wither your redoing your wardrobe or going away on holiday. xx

Wardrobe Checklist

See you later Munchies xx
